SERCEL LAND TRAINING
508XT
This training course provide observers with all the information to successfully ensure seismic data acquisition using 508XT equipment.
It starts with an introduction to the 508XT Seismic Areal Network taking into account all the technical solutions offered by Xtech technology for operations.
The trainee will receive the know-how to define the optimum Vibrator Electronic (VE464) parameters for vibroseismic operation (slip-Sweep, flip-flop, Navigation, Guidance, DSSS, DSSSS, etc…).
The training is completed by an introduction to Sercel Quality Control tools Also included is the practice on the new Graphic User Interface of 508XT.
At the completion of the course, the trainee will be proficient in order to maximize the performance and potential of the 508XT system.

eUNITE Intensive
This course aims at providing observers with all the information to successfully ensure seismic data acquisition usintg Sercel eUNITE. Upon completion of this course the trainee will have a comprehensive understanding of the operation and implementation the eUNITE system. This course is intended for customers already familiar with 428XL acquisition system.
Content includes Infrastructure and Autonomous way of operation, Infill and full UNITE system, field equipment specifications, eUNITE software installation and a thorough view on the eUNITE acquisition chain. Part of the training is also dedicated to the performance of all the settings for a survey start-up and regular production. A minimum of 4 trainees is required for this unscheduled training course.

Duration: One week, 4.5 days per week
eUNITE
This training course is intended for people who will perform acquisitions with eUNITE system. Specifications of UNITE & 428XL are reviewed before various examples including both technologies on the same spread. The schedule covers in-depth the UNITE part of the system. Parameters for vibroseismic operation (slip-Sweep, flip-flop, Navigation, Guidance, etc…) are reviewed. The training is completed by an introduction to Sercel Quality Control tools (Signal Graphic Analyzer and the eSQC-Pro). At the completion of the course, the trainee will have the proficiency to maximize the performance potential of the eUNITE System. A minimum of 4 trainees is required for this unscheduled training course.

428XL Fully Integrated Data Acquisition System
This training starts by a knowledge improvement on the Seismic Areal Network taking into account all the technical solutions for Detours (Wireless solutions with LRU, WRU, Laser, Fiber Optic, cable with or without DSU/FDU, snaking, etc…).The trainee will receive the know-how to define the optimum Vibrator Electronic (VE432) parameters for vibroseismic operation (slip-Sweep, flip-flop, Navigation, Guidance, etc…). The training is completed by an introduction to Sercel Quality Control tools (Signal Graphic Analyzer and the eSQC-Pro). Also included is the practice on the new Graphic User Interface and 428XL. At the completion of the course, the trainee will be proficient to maximize the performance potential of the 428XL System.

VE464 Extended Training Course
This training course aims at providing field supervisor, observers and geophysicist involved with seismic data acquisition with all the information to successfully prepare and ensure the quality control of seismic data acquired by the last generation of Sercel Land equipment. A part of the course is dedicated to playback real field QC results from Sercel instrument for analysis. The course includes the following topics: General overview, Source emission, Quality Control and 428XL-VE464 : Fully integrated vibrator control Location: This course is taught in Nantes. Duration: Two weeks, 4.5 days a week Sercel Instruments and Software Quality Control: Facilities and Analysis At the completion of the course, the trainee will be proficient in using the full range of Sercel Quality Control tools (428XL , eSGA and eSQC-Pro) The training course is both theoretical and practical with a whole range of exercises on realistic situations.

SeaRay® 428 Training Course
This course aims at providing the observers with all the information to successfully ensure the seismic data acquisition by Sercel SeaRay® 428 OBC equipment. Upon completion of this course the trainee will have a comprehensive understanding of the operation and implementation the SeaRay 428 system. Content includes on-board and in sea-equipment presentation and application, SeaRay® 428 software installation and a thorough view on the SeaRay® 428 acquisition chain. Part of the training is also dedicated to the performance of all the settings for a survey start-up and regular production.

Duration: Two weeks, 4.5 days per week.
Nomad 65 / 90 Training Course
This 3 week course provides Nomad 65 / 90 technicians with the basic elements to maintain Nomad 65 / 90 vibrators. This first week of this course mainly focuses on the general behavior of the vibrator, in particular through the multiplexed system architecture. We will also review the technical specifications of the vehicle. Week 2 focuses on the hydraulic. The aim of week 2 is for the trainee to review some basics about hydraulic and to apply it the vibrator. Week 3 will allow the trainee to acquire the basic knowledge for maintenance, AC system and about engine, and to acquire the necessary knowledge to troubleshoot the shaker, and keep it within specification.
